UDINE. Green light for the financial statements of the Danieli Group which renews the board of directors, which will remain in office until 2024, bringing the number of members to 10.

At the top, in the role of president, there is always Gianpietro Benedetti flanked by two vice-presidents: Camilla Benedetti, confirmed in the role, alongside Alessandro Brussi, CFO of the Group.

Rolando Paolone, former CTO, joins the Board of Directors and becomes CEO, a position he shares with Giacomo Mareschi Danieli, former CEO.

On the recommendation of Sind International, the “safe” of the Danieli and Benedetti families, an independent director also enters, Professor Cecilia Metra, professor of electrical engineering at the University of Bologna, who integrates the team with Carla de Colle, Chiara Mio and Antonello Mordeglia.

A seat was reserved for the independent director proposed by the minority shareholders, Giulio Gallazzi, who also express the chairman of the Board of Statutory Auditors and an alternate auditor.

«In the new Board of Directors – explains Alessandro Brussi – 4 out of 10 directors are women. Not only that, with this operation, which has also set up three Executive Boards, one of the group, one dedicated to the Plant machine division and one to the Steel machine (Abs) division, Danieli has strengthened its managerial structure ».

An organization necessary “to manage with even greater attention, identifying centers of responsibility, a company that operates all over the world with about fifty companies – underlines Brussi – and which has ambitious growth prospects”.
