“This sequence was shot at the end of the day, when we were all very tired,” explains Dario Albertini, director of Beautiful soul. “But that was what tiredness was needed, for the rendering of the scene”.
The film tells of Gioia, an eighteen-year-old girl who lives in a rural village in central Italy. She loves her work and is loved by everyone, but the person closest to her, her father, will slowly force her to turn her life upside down.
