Democracy in times of crises and uncertainties: How to restore our lost trust?

Early parliamentary elections in Slovakia are just around the corner, at a time when the political tension in society in connection with the never-ending series of crises is at a level not seen in decades. So who can we trust today? Can anything be done to ensure that democracy in Slovakia does not continue to weaken and that it can defend itself effectively? How do we avoid becoming Europe’s black hole again?
