After the acquittal of the former PD councilor Donzel
The Democratic Area / Gauche Autonomiste expresses “great satisfaction” for the acquittal of Raimondo Donzel, former PD regional councilor, confirmed on appeal in the judgment of the Court of Auditors on regional funding for the Casino of Saint-Vincent.
“In the absence of any press release from the exponents of the PD – reads a note from the political association of which Donzel is now part -, which instead, through the voice of some of its leaders, had exploited the judicial case against the former regional councilor Donzel , we believe it is a duty on the part of the association to give a voice to the many who have waited for the sentence to issue judgments and who in recent days have gathered around him to reaffirm their closeness ».
The Democratic Area comments on the sentence with words similar to those already used byUnion Valdôtaine for convicted councilors. “The end of the procedure”, reads the statement, “still leaves us perplexed and it would be necessary to reflect on the repercussions that this may have in the performance of any role as a public administrator”.
