Denise, Oleya’s blood type is not that of the girl

Olesya Rostova is not Denise Pipitone. At the end of the episode of «Let them speak», the pre-news broadcast of the Russian channel Primo Canale which first launched the Olesya case, then reported by the Italian media, the mystery (so to speak) was finally revealed. In fact, the two blood groups do not coincide. But it had to wait for the format to run its course, with two would-be mothers from Olesya excluded from a DNA test. With the inevitable summary of the whole story, both of Olesya and Denise.

When it came to the point, Piera Maggio’s lawyer, Giacomo Frazzitta, appeared in connection from Italy, while in the hands of the conductor, Dmitry Borisov, an envelope appeared, containing the response on Olesya’s blood tests. Borisov then asked Frazzitta to communicate Denise’s group, with the Russian girl anxiously waiting. But the lawyer refused, demanding the reverse procedure. The result was a surreal bickering, promptly interrupted by Frazzitta, who threatened to leave if the push and pull were not put an end to. “I want to know if she is my mom,” Olesya said then, her voice almost broken by tears. At that point Borisov gave in and found a way to communicate the blood type to the lawyer (through the cell phone of the correspondent of RAI in Moscow, Marc Innaro, who was sitting on the sofa of the guests of the broadcast). Frazzitta then revealed that the two groups do not coincide.

Borisov promised that the program will continue to search for Olesya’s mother and asked the Italians, “who are passionate about the story of this girl”, not to “abandon her.” In the queue in the studio, however, the doubt was raised that the test of Denise’s blood, carried out many years ago, may not be correct and it would be better, for the avoidance of doubt, to proceed with the DNA test.
