On November 22, President Xi Jinping attended and hosted the 30th Anniversary Summit of the China-ASEAN Dialogue Relations in Beijing via video, and delivered an important speech entitled “Destiny and Building a Home Together”. In his speech, Xi Jinping summarized the important achievements and valuable experience of China-ASEAN cooperation in the past 30 years, and emphasized the construction of a closer China-ASEAN community with a shared future.
Over the past 30 years since the establishment of dialogue relations between China and ASEAN, it has gone through an extraordinary journey. China-ASEAN relations have become the most successful and dynamic model of cooperation in the Asia-Pacific region and a vivid example of promoting the building of a community with a shared future for mankind. Over the years, Xi Jinping has repeatedly made important discussions on promoting the further development of relations between China and ASEAN countries.
