The Pro loco Trichiana has prepared the program of the festival. Reservations required, space also for events and concerts
TRICHIANA. The restart of the Sinistra Piave bears the name of Melere: the Pro loco Trichiana has prepared the calendar of appointments in view of the expected return of the event, which this year, however, cannot be repeated as in the past. The first difference will consist in the obligation to reserve the table, which must take place on the website www.prolocotrichiana.it, from the Monday preceding the weekend. In fact, Melere will take place every weekend, from July 31st to August 15th between gastronomy, sports and various shows.
The first day will be dedicated to the awarding of the competition reserved for middle school pupils “Design the Melere T-shirt 2021”, followed by the concert at 9.30pm. The event will continue on Sunday 1, Friday 6, Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 August, a day dedicated to e-bike tours, with certified guides. «We have defined the 2021 edition as“ Mini Melere ”», explains the director of the Pro loco Trichiana Gianni Segat, «because it is not the same party as always. Despite the difficult period we are going through, we wanted to re-propose the event and get back into the game with commitment, for our community. This is why we have set up three weekends, also combining Friday evenings with aperitifs, without meals. We try. It is important, however, that all those who want to come to Melere book themselves. We do not accept people who gather in queues: we need everyone’s collaboration ».
The same number of volunteers will be reduced according to the number of customers, especially as regards the preparation of meals in the kitchens. “It is beautiful how the restart in Borgo Valbelluna should be done by looking at our territory and therefore at the beauty that surrounds us, from nature to culture”, says Mayor Stefano Cesa. «These are the pillars that almost surround all the initiatives this summer, which number about seventy, including Melere. Our thanks go to the world of volunteering. It constitutes a variegated world, which allows us, for the first time, to recognize ourselves perhaps in a single identity, that of the new Municipality of Borgo Valbelluna ». –
