AVIANO. Mission and family overlap in the story of Dmytro Rumiantsev, a first class airman deployed from the Sheppard (Texas) base to that of Aviano, financial management technician of the 82nd Control Squadron.
The young man made his story known through social media. “It was February 24, I woke up and had my phone in sleep mode, where notifications for messages were muted,” begins his story.
