Draghi-Letta meeting, reforms on the table, but also appointments in public companies

by admin

They had already met last week. At the center of the interview was over the tension over Enrico Letta’s proposal to tax the succession to reinvest on young people. And this morning, the head of the government Mario Draghi and the secretary of the Democratic Party, Enrico Letta met again. The latter via twitter assures that it was a “long and fruitful” meeting, an interview, Letta underlines, in full “full harmony”, to accelerate the reforms on justice, taxation, work and simplifications that are the basis of the pact with the EU, “reforms – adds the Dem secretary – for which we will bring our ideas and find the best syntheses”. In short, at the center of the confrontation that took place at Palazzo Chigi, of course, was the government agenda. Which in these hours sees, among other things, at the center of priorities, the renewal of companies with prevalently public capital: from the CDP to the Railways up to Rai. On these issues, therefore, the discussion goes on starting with the session of the next CDM where the theme of simplifications will be on the agenda. So far, lincntro with Letta, then the one with the heads of the government delegation right in the control room.

During today’s meeting of the control room chaired by Prime Minister Draghi, it was agreed that the Government, in building the three essential pillars for the implementation of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR), will follow an overall unified approach which will concern at the same time, the planning of the governance of the PNRR, the regulatory simplifications and a recruitment plan in the Public Administration.

These three elements constitute the necessary prerequisite to be able to associate the complexity of the PNRR with an appropriate regulatory framework, an effective management model and an adequate availability of skills.
