by admin

A support administrator was brought to court. He would also sell the house for his daughter

BORGO VALBELLUNA. Looted the accounts of the elder. Not only that: the house destined for the man’s daughter was sold, at a price higher than the market value. A man from Mel (Borgo Valbelluna) was indicted for the crime of embezzlement and abuse of office: in his role as support administrator he was a public official.

The accused will have to face a trial starting from 29 September, in the meantime he has equipped himself with the trusted lawyer Xaiz. There is no civil party, but a civil suit could soon start, in order to try to obtain compensation for the damage caused. There is talk of tens of thousands of euros: the precise figure will come out in the classroom, together with other details, not of secondary importance.

The complaint was presented by his brother, who on the death of the elderly guest for some time in the nursing home had noticed a substantial shortage of money on the current account, which the support administrator had the availability. It is not known what happened to this money, for sure it was spent in the interest of the elderly, complete with a report to the tutelary judge at the end of each calendar year. Up to here the embezzlement.

But the accused would have allowed himself to market, overestimate and sell a house that, according to the holographic will, would have gone to the daughter of the deceased, committing an abuse. The man did not choose alternative rites, preferring to play it in the classroom. At the end of the summer he will be facing a collegiate court, given the gravity of the disputed facts. For embezzlement alone, the sentence ranges from four years to ten and six months.
