It is expected that during the Spring Festival holiday (January 31 to February 6), there will be frequent cold air activities in Xiamen, and there will be many cloudy and rainy weather. Citizens should pay attention to preventing cold and keeping warm and traveling safety.
Affected by the cold air, the temperature will drop significantly today and tomorrow. The lowest temperature today is 11°C and the highest is 16°C. The lowest temperature affected by this round of cold air will appear in the early morning of tomorrow. The lowest temperature in the morning is expected to be only 9°C. Frost or frost, the daytime maximum temperature drops to 13°C.
Starting from New Year’s Eve, under the influence of the confluence of cold and warm air, Xiamen will usher in a rain that lasts for many days. The main rainfall period is from February 1st to February 3rd, that is, from the first day of the new year to the third day of the new year. The accumulated rainfall is large and the visibility is low during precipitation. Citizens should prevent the adverse impact of rain and fog on traffic.
Affected by the rainfall, the temperature continued to be low from February 1 to February 4, with the minimum temperature between 11 ℃ and 12 ℃, and the maximum temperature between 13 ℃ and 15 ℃.
On February 5, it was mainly cloudy in Xiamen, with the highest temperature around 14°C. The temperature in the night and morning was lower, and it is expected to drop to 9°C again. Citizens who leave early and return late should pay attention to adding clothes in time to prevent catching a cold.
On February 6, mainly cloudy weather during the day, light rain may reappear at night, and the maximum temperature rises to around 17°C.
In addition, the meteorological department continued to issue an offshore gale warning yesterday. It is expected that from today to February 5, there will be strong winds along the coast of Xiamen. Citizens should pay attention to the adverse effects of the gale on maritime shipping and coastal activities.
