Earthquake in the Catanese a few kilometers from Santa Maria di Licodia

CATANIA – A 2.8 magnitude earthquake was recorded by the seismographs of the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology of Catania at 16.26 (Italian time) 5.5 km south-west of the town of Santa Maria di Licodia and at a depth of 1 km. The shock was also felt by the population in Biancavilla.
