Completed cycle for 75% of the population in just three states

(ANSA) – BRUSSELS, SEPTEMBER 30 – From now to November there is a high risk of an increase in infections and deaths for European countries that have not yet reached a sufficiently high Covid-19 vaccination coverage in their total population. This is the message of the new Covid risk assessment of the European Center for Disease Prevention and Control (Ecdc).

The circulation of the virus, according to the ECDC analysis, is very high. So far only 61% of the total population in Europe (EU and European Economic Area) has been fully vaccinated and only three countries (Malta, Portugal and Iceland) have vaccinated more than 75% of their total population.
