Elderly hit by a car while walking: transported to hospital for a head injury

SAN PIETRO AL NATISONE. A 70-year-old man was hit by a car, for reasons yet to be ascertained, while he was walking along via Alpe Adria, in San Pietro al Natisone. It happened on the afternoon of Friday, April 29th. The Sores plant in Palmanova immediately sent an ambulance to the site and also the 118 helicopter.

The injured was transported to the Udine hospital by ambulance. The conditions of the elderly man, who suffered a head injury, are serious but he would not be life threatening. The police also intervened on the spot to reconstruct the incident.
