A 27-year-old boy from Niscemi, Roberto Savasta, lost his life in an accident at work. It happened in Valguarnera, in the province of Enna. The young man had just been hired by a company in Ragusa and would have had to take care of the maintenance of the roofs. He was at work on the roof of a hard discount storage warehouse when he plunged into the void, taking a 40-foot flight.
There was nothing for him to do. The carabinieri are investigating the fatal accident, having seized the area of the accident and are investigating to ascertain any responsibility.
Savasta had worked in France for a Gelese engineering company. The boy, after this long experience in France, had decided not to leave his city anymore.
