Estee Lauder Group debuts at the 4th China International Import Expo

The Estée Lauder Group made a stunning appearance at the 4th China International Import Expo with its high looks and strong lineup. A few days ago, the group has also signed the 5th CIIE Enterprise Business Exhibition in 2022 to deepen the Chinese market and share new opportunities for China’s high-quality development.

In the past two CIIEs, the Estée Lauder Group’s pavilion made a stunning appearance as the “Crystal Palace”. Many interactive arrangements on site have left many “most beautiful moments” deeply rooted in the hearts of the people.

Thanks to the spillover effect of the CIIE, after the closing of the CIIE, the Estée Lauder Group has continued to take action to root China and fulfill China’s commitments.

After the debut of the Group’s perfume brands KILIAN Paris and Editions de Parfums Frédéric Malle (Fumar Perfume Publishing House) at the second CIIE, the global new concept and the first store in China have been opened in Shanghai in June 2020. The Golden Center is inaugurated. Tom Ford BEAUTY (Tom Ford Beauty) the world‘s largest beauty boutique opened in Guangzhou Tianhuan Plaza in September 2020.

During the 3rd China International Import Expo, Shanghai Minhang District People’s Government, Lingang Group and Estée Lauder Group signed a tripartite agreement to announce that the Chinese project of Estee Lauder Group’s global R&D center will be located in Caohejing Science and Technology Oasis Park. In May of this year, the project officially started construction. In the future, it will be the largest innovation research and development center in the international market of the group, and become one of the global engines of the group’s innovation, patents and leading technologies. The new R&D center will take root and truly realize “China’s intelligent manufacturing, benefiting the world.” The completion of the new R&D center will more strongly support the implementation of the “beauty promise” for quality control, sustainable development and employee empowerment.

The Estée Lauder Companies Group has also been dedicated to helping Shanghai’s “Five-Five Shopping Festival” for two consecutive years. The recently promulgated “Shanghai Cosmetics Industry High-quality Development Action Plan” (2021-2023) allows industry enterprises to see a bright future for the “beauty industry” in the process of accelerating the construction of Shanghai’s “International Fashion Capital”.

Keeping pace with rapid development, the Estée Lauder Group actively contributes to the local society and is an excellent corporate citizen. In order to help the prevention and control of the new crown pneumonia epidemic, the Estée Lauder Group has donated a total of 15 million yuan in cash and materials in China, all of which have been implemented. In July this year, the Estée Lauder Group donated RMB 5 million to help rescue workers and people affected by the heavy rain in Henan, urgently purchase related supplies, and support post-disaster reconstruction. In October of this year, the Shanghai Women’s Federation and the Estée Lauder Group jointly announced that they would set up a special breast cancer charity project in the Minhang District Representative Office of the Shanghai Charity Foundation and launch the “Pink Ribbon Breast Cancer Care Public Welfare Project.” The project focuses on the health of urban women, carries out education on breast cancer prevention, postoperative rehabilitation, and public welfare assistance for the sick.
