The trade unions remind the prefect that Acciaierie d’Italia held meetings with the metalworking companies “to address a series of problems with regards to managing the entry of personnel in force at Acciaierie d’Italia”. On 5 October, in practice, Acciaierie d’Italia reached an agreement with the trade unions which provided, following the requests made at the table by the three engineering companies, the company’s willingness to perform free tampons for workers who are not temporarily vaccinated. An agreement that now appears to have been shelved.
