Ex Ilva, unions denounce: from Monday in Cig who is without a green pass

by admin

Acciaierie d’Italia sent a communication to workers without a green pass ordering, starting from Monday 11 October, the deactivation of the badge and placement in the ordinary layoffs. The Fim, Fiom and Uilm secretariats denounce this in a letter sent to the prefect of Taranto Demetrio Martino with which they announce a mobilization initiative. “In the absence of a withdrawal of the company instructions given to the workers of Acciaierie d’Italia – they explain – we will convene ourselves on 11 October, at 9 am, at the Prefecture of Taranto”. According to the unions, the former Ilva is “disregarding the provisions of the Dl and the internal procedure”.

The trade unions: an unacceptable attitude

“We consider the attitude of Acciaierie d’Italia unacceptable – say the unions -, which once again shows the worst face, and above all the failure to apply the provisions of the current Legislative Decree 127/2021”. Decree that extends the obligation of the green pass to the world of public and private work from next October 15 to December 31, a deadline established by the state of emergency, and provides that the worker must exhibit the green Covid 19 certification to access the workplace. Fim, Fiom and Uilm speak of “a unilateral and incomprehensible act that we believe must be absolutely modified in compliance with the provisions of the decree law”.

The agreement between acronyms and Acciaierie d’Italia

The green pass case erupts despite last 5 October Acciaierie d’Italia had reached an agreement with the unions which provides, precisely following the requests of the three engineering companies, the company’s willingness to perform free tampons for workers who are temporarily not vaccinated with tests to be carried out in approved laboratories and pharmacies.
