Discovered by the Digos of the Genoa police headquarters, with the collaboration of colleagues from Aosta and the postal police, a band that generated QR-codes to obtain false green passes. Four people have been reported: they are two Genoese and two Aostani who were obtained the false certificate and they had worked to make it available to acquaintances. These are people between 29 and 51 years old, in contact with each other, all busy, who had obtained the false green certificate for having no restrictions on work and accessing places where the reinforced green pass was required. They are accused of receiving stolen goods, material forgery committed by the private individual in certificates or administrative authorizations, and use of a false document.

The police reached them by crossing the checks on the workers’ green passes with the data from the vaccination registry. The agents searched the homes of the four: smartphones and other IT devices were seized, as well as the various payment receipts and health certificates available to the suspects. The investigation goes on to identify the subjects at the head of the organization, who materially produce the fake green passes, and to identify the methods characterized by advanced technology through which they are able to generate a QR Code associated with the name, so as to be “in rule »during checks via the verification app.

The four charged € 250 for a fake green pass, € 50 was the down payment for the operation which was triggered by sending personal data e which was paid with 200 euros upon receipt of the QR code.
