Fatal accident in the construction site, Jovençan and Gressan proclaim city mourning

On the occasion of the funeral of Pepellin and Dal Dosso

The funeral of Sandro Pepellin and Velio Dal Dosso, the two victims of the accident on a construction site in Gressan on 24 August, will be celebrated on 1 September in Jovençan.

The funeral for the former mayor of Joveçan and building contractor and for the worker from Gressan will take place in the parish church of Sant’Orso at 2.30 pm.

Tomorrow both Gressan and Jovençan will observe a day of city mourning proclaimed by decrees of the mayors Michel Martinet and Riccardo Desaymonet. Delegations from both administrations will also be present at the funeral ceremony. A way to “manifest in a tangible and solemn way the pain and condolence” for “this serious tragedy that has affected all citizens”.
