Feltrina closed due to queues and inconveniences in Biadene. Appeal to Veneto Strade

by admin

Although at the Crozzole roundabout a deviation sign has been placed towards Treviso (for those who have to go to Feltre), many motorists ignore it and take to Biadene to then return to Feltrina further north.

MONTEBELLUNA. A summer of passion on the traffic front is confirmed: the closure of the flyover along the Feltrina, north-west of the Crozzole roundabout, due to work, as was expected, drove the traffic in Biadene crazy, during rush hour. The deviations imposed by the construction site oblige all vehicles arriving at the roundabout to take Via Feltrina Sud through the inhabited center of the populous Montebelluna hamlet.

These inconveniences appear today as inevitable, also because the alternative detours to the Roman Postumia and the 667 require an interminable turn on the Treviso-Feltre route and vice versa.

Despite the fact that a deviation sign towards Treviso has been placed at the roundabout of the Crozzole (for those who have to go to Feltre), many motorists ignore it and drive towards Biadene to then return to Feltrina further north. Wednesday in the evening, a few hours after closing, the streets of Biadene were basically blocked and we proceeded at a walking pace. Yesterday, the second day of closure of the viaduct, it did not go better: Biadene finds itself invaded by vehicles, even heavy ones, especially from the south.

Traffic difficulties in Biadene are also reflected in the center of Montebelluna, so much so that yesterday morning the queue practically reached the miniput in the historic center: half an hour to walk that kilometer of via Montello that separates the city center from Boccacavalla; also vicolo Boccacavalla, which crosses the industrial area and allows you to pass from Feltrina to via Montello, avoiding the closed overpass. On social networks, Veneto Strade is the target for the tight deadlines in which the closure of the viaduct was announced and for ineffective signage. The situation will go on until September 12, a very long time: “I asked the mayor to be the interpreter of the widespread discomfort in the face of Veneto Strade, which has the duty to manage this criticality with appropriate signs and people predisposed to control traffic” says the center-left mayoral candidate, Loreno Miotto «I hope that the work will be done 24 hours a day in order to speed up the execution times (two months are heavy especially for traffic in Biadene); the timing and manner of communication that took place cause perplexity; we secure the overpass but we also create the conditions for peaceful traffic ».
