RIMINI – Simone Benedetto Vultaggio, 47, allegedly delivered about thirty stab wounds, one of which to the jugular of his partner Cristina Peroni, 33, killed yesterday morning in Rimini. This is the hypothesis of the coroner to whom the deputy prosecutor Luca Bertuzzi asked for an initial autopsy analysis.

In addition, the magistrate ordered the toxicological tests on Vultaggio to understand whether or not he was under the influence of some substance when yesterday morning he killed the partner with her 6-month-old son in the next room. According to the investigators, the knife would therefore be the murder weapon and the large number of stab wounds would explain why the killer was all smeared with blood.

The rolling pin should therefore only have been used to stun the woman. At the moment there are hypotheses that the investigators of the mobile team of the Rimini police headquarters are formulating while waiting for the killer to give her version of the facts.

Immediately after the crime, Vultaggio gave the neighbors reassurance that he had not harmed his son. And to the police he would have said “he would not let me pick him up”, admitting that he was responsible for him. In addition, in Vultaggio’s house the policemen found pistol bullets for a sort of homemade pistol in addition to the murder weapons.
