MORIAGO. He remains in prison because “Socially dangerous” Fabrizio Biscaro, the 35-year-old worker from Col San Martino, arrested for murdering Elisa Campeol, a 35-year-old barmaid from Pieve di Soligo, on Wednesday 23 June on the banks of the Piave in Moriago.
The judge of the preliminary investigations Marco Biagetti motivated with the social dangerousness and, therefore, the risk that it may still kill or otherwise do harm, the decision to keep the Col San Martino worker in prison.
Biscaro, meanwhile, remane locked up in a solitary cell in the Santa Bona prison. The isolation, as well as a question of quarantine for the prevention rules from Covid, reserved for newcomers, is mainly due to the fact that it is feared that the 35-year-old from Col San Martino may repeat acts of self-harm or attempt suicide, such as had already done so in the past.
For this reason it is under surveillance 24 hours a day by the prison guards who do not take their eyes off him for fear of rash gestures.
Biscaro, as he had appeared to those who saw him on Friday 25 June, during the validation hearing, is described as a young skinny who spends his time lying on the cot or sitting, with his gaze lost in the void. He eats little and mumbles a few words when he comes into contact with the prison guards when they bring him his meals.
In perfect line with the description of a young man isolated and immersed only in the world of social media made by those who know him in town.
TODAY AUTOPSY
In the meantime, in the middle of the morning of today 30 June, the autopsy on the body of Elisa Campeol will begin. On June 29, the coroner Alberto Furlanetto was appointed by the prosecutor Gabriella Cama, which deals with the investigation. The question is simple: the prosecutor asked Furlanetto to establish how many stab wounds the victim received, which were the fatal ones and if the seized weapon is compatible with the injuries.
The autopsy will begin at 10.30 and will last at least three hours. The next steps of the power of attorney will be to arrange one appraisal on cell phones and computers seized in Biscaro, from which it will be possible to see the contacts and sites visited, and the request for a probative incident, to see if Biscaro was capable of understanding and willing, given his psychic problems that had led him, months ago, to suspend a treatment based on medicines.
For the moment, however, he is coming to Biscaro (defended by the lawyer Rosa Perenti) the premeditation of the murder is disputed. The worker, the evening before the crime, had gone to a supermarket in Valdobbiadene to buy a knife with which to satisfy his growing desire to harm someone.
And fate wanted that someone to be the bartender from Pieve di Soligo, surprised by the murder while she was relaxing and sunbathing lying on a deckchair on the Piave bed, on the Island of the Dead.
