Few presences and skyrocketing costs: the Region anticipates the closing of the ski season

UDINE. The few presences in recent days, added to the exorbitant increase in the cost of energy, have made the Region change the plans for the winter season by reducing the number of slopes available to enthusiasts and the early closure of two poles.

According to the calendar, in fact, the scheduled closing date was Sunday 3 April with Sella Nevea postponed to 25 April.

The new calendar, on the other hand, provides that the Forni di Sopra-Sauris and Sappada poles close on Sunday 27 March, while the other poles – from 28 March to 3 April – will only keep the following plants open:

Tarvisio: Lussari TeleCabina + Nuova Tarvisio chairlift;

Zoncolan: Funifor Ravascletto + Valvan chairlift (Ravascletto side closed the return slope, Sutrio side 1,2 and 4 open)

Piancavallo: Casere chairlift + Busa Grande chairlift

The pole of Sella Nevea will remain open until Monday 18 April included (Easter Monday): from Monday 28 March only the TeleCabina and Funifor will be open; From Friday 1st April the Funifor will remain open only in cases in which the connection (which will be restored) with Bovec is also open.

In any case, the promotion on day-trips remains valid until the end of the season, which allows you to ski at a reduced price on Tuesdays and Wednesdays (with a 30 percent discount by purchasing the day ticket online, and 20 percent directly at the poles’ cash desks). the reinforced green pass and the use of an Ffp2 mask remain mandatory on the “closed” ones (cable cars, cable cars, chairlifts with lowered domes, covered carpets) and a mask, including surgical, on all open ones.
