Cagliari From the start of the Lavoras project to health care up to the contributions for Cagliari football and Dinamo: in the latest resolutions of the Solinas junta there is really a bit of everything. With the addition of two footnotes: the first, the navigators, who in his time should have directed the beneficiaries of the citizenship income to work, but then were put aside, will be hired for another three months by the Region. The second: the council has also approved the budget adjustment and therefore the 78 million advanced by 2021, or rather not spent, will end up in the coffers of the next Omnibus Law. It will be yet another ongoing adjustment of the 2022 Budget, and in fact it will serve to put the companies put in crisis first by the pandemic and then by the increase in production costs on the waterline.
Lavoras Also for the next three years, until 2024, the Region will focus on the Lavoras program to push unemployment and offer new opportunities to job seekers. This time the total budget will be around 135 million, with a first trance of 44.6 and then two of 45 in 2023 and 2024. The declared objective of the councilor for work, Alessandra Zedda, is to open municipal construction sites, start training and make some bonuses available to companies that will not reduce staff. “All this will happen – reads a note from the Region – through the Aspal employment agency, which will have the task of shortening the gap between supply and demand for work”. The construction sites will go to 8.9 million this year, then 31.5 in 2023 and 13.5 in 2024. To promote employment and vocational training, the Solinas junta immediately allocated 17.8 million and another 9 until 2024 Finally, the bonuses for companies of all kinds (17.8 million this year and 36 in the two-year period 23-24) which they will not lay off and on the contrary will hire despite the persistence of the crisis.
Healthcare construction In the coming weeks, the health department will run 25 million, arrived from the state, to secure some hospitals. A large part of the package, 22.5 million, will be used for the renovation of the former psychiatric hospital of Sassari. The other interventions, proposed by the councilor Mario Nieddu, will concern the strengthening of the technical services in the operating rooms of the University of Sassari and the extraordinary maintenance of the Monserrato Polyclinic, managed by the Cagliari Aou.
Professional sport Finally, the Region has allocated an extraordinary contribution – 2 million in total but cannot exceed 600 thousand euros each, for what are considered top-tier sports clubs: Cagliari calcio, Olbia, Dinamo basket and Dinamo lab. Among other things, the resolution has already obtained, albeit by a majority, the go-ahead from the work commission of the Regional Council. It should be emphasized that the contribution can only be used to pay employees but not the squad of players, the coach and managers.
