UDINE. First effect of the war in Ukraine on the arrival of Russian gas in Italy: yesterday the difficult situation in Donbass – with the occupation of the territory by the soldiers of Moscow – resulted in the blockade of gas in the Ukrainian town of Sokhranivka, one of the main nodes for connections with the Malborghetto Valbruna compression station.
Most of the gas from Russia is pumped and redirected from the Friuli plant.
