[First-line interview]No nucleic acid test for seven days is given yellow code Shanghai residents object | Shanghai closed city | Nucleic acid test

[The Epoch Times, June 13, 2022](The Epoch Times reporter Luo Ya interviewed and reported) Shanghai officials recently required everyone to take a nucleic acid test at least once a week. If no nucleic acid test is performed for 7 days, the “Suishen Code” will be assigned a yellow code . Some citizens publicly stated that the yellow code was illegal and demanded that the government withdraw it.

In the three days including last weekend, many districts in Shanghai conducted nucleic acid tests for all employees, and most of them were silently closed, causing panic among the citizens and a resurgence of panic buying in supermarkets.

Feng Zhenghu: It is illegal to assign a yellow code without a nucleic acid test for 7 days

On June 11, the Shanghai Leading Office of Epidemic Prevention and Control issued the latest notice on nucleic acid testing. First, the normalized free testing service of nucleic acid testing points in Shanghai has been extended to the end of July 2022.

Second, from now until July 31, citizens should conduct nucleic acid tests at least once a week. If there is no nucleic acid test record for 7 days, the accompanying code will be assigned a yellow code, and the code will be transcoded within 24 hours after nucleic acid sampling is completed.

Third, citizens who have no nucleic acid test records within 7 days should promptly participate in social convenience screening or conduct nucleic acid tests at nucleic acid sampling points. Those who fail to check and cause the spread of the epidemic will be investigated for corresponding legal responsibility.

Feng Zhenghu, a well-known human rights activist in Shanghai, publicly stated on the 12th: “I oppose Shanghai’s release of the illegal provision that citizens who do not have a nucleic acid test record within 7 days are assigned a yellow code.”

He said that the “Implementation Opinions on Accelerating the Promotion of New Coronavirus Nucleic Acid Testing” issued by the Joint Prevention and Control Mechanism of the State Council of the Communist Party of China on June 8, 2020 stipulates that key personnel “should be tested thoroughly”, other groups of people “willing to be tested thoroughly”, and the disease The control agency regularly conducts sampling tests and epidemiological investigations on the general population.

Feng Zhenghu believes that the Shanghai Leading Group for Epidemic Prevention and Control is lazy in government and infringement, abusing state financial resources and wasting social resources. He strongly urged the Shanghai authorities to withdraw this illegal provision.

He also said that illegal administrative regulations have no legal effect, and citizens can disobey. If the illegal regulations and measures of the administrative agencies cause the rights of citizens to be violated, the perpetrators of the violations may be held accountable and the state may be required to pay compensation.

Some citizens who have not done nucleic acid testing for more than 14 days found that their application code was still green. Ms. Wang from Jing’an District introduced to The Epoch Times on the 12th, “I just checked the green code, and there is a sentence ‘No nucleic acid test results within 14 days’. My friends have green code even if they have not done nucleic acid. I feel that the government is trying to intimidate the people. “

Last Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (10th, 11th, and 12th), all staff in Fengxian were tested for nucleic acid for three consecutive days. Mr. Zhao said that Fengxian was not bad, and he could go out after the nucleic acid test, but his two friends lived in Hongkou respectively. District and Jing’an District, “the nucleic acid must be closed for three days for three days, and it is not allowed to enter and leave the community. When the courier arrives at the door and wait for 24 hours, it must be sprayed with disinfectant before it can be picked up.”

“For example, today is the third day after the nucleic acid is done, but I don’t know if I can go out or go to work tomorrow, and it has become such an uncertain state.” He said.

Citizens: Shanghai is still semi-open and some stores are not open

Since the unblocking of Shanghai communities on June 1, a valid negative nucleic acid test certificate within 72 hours has become a pass for citizens to go to work, take transportation, and enter various supermarkets, etc., so that Shanghai citizens have to do a nucleic acid test almost every two days.

Mr. Zhao said that volunteers in the community told him that Shanghai is still semi-open, and some shops that are not very important to the residents’ lives have not been opened, and the leaders have asked them not to open if they can.

In the past two days, he went to the streets to find shops that sell clothes suitable for the elderly, but found that only some shops were open, and the general clothing shops were still closed.

Mr. Zhao believes that Shanghai officials have falsified the nucleic acid test. He said last month’s military orders from many places as an example, urban leaders said that they wanted to win the battle against the epidemic in Shanghai.

“For example, knowing that the epidemic situation in this community is very serious, we do not do nucleic acid testing, so there is no (positive) number. Shanghai announced that there are no more than 10 new positives every day. In fact, it is also falsifying, and the number is suppressed and not reported.”

Ms. Huang also confirmed that residents of their community who returned from the Fangcang were not allowed to do nucleic acid tests in the community.

Since the unblocking of various communities in Shanghai on June 1, the epidemic has rebounded in many places. In Xuhui District, Shanghai alone, most of the streets of the local people have been exposed to the sun. On June 7th, local residents in the social group discussed the inventory. The ones that exploded were Hunan Road Street, Tianlin Street 11 Village, Fenglin Road Street, Kangjian Street, Vanke, Waltz, Everbright, 9 buildings in Shajiabang Community, Huinan Community, Nandan Community, Huaxin Homestead suffered the most from the Huajing epidemic. Half of the population of one of the buildings in Luoxiu No. 2 Village, Changqiao Street, Xuhui, was taken away.

On the day when the streets of Hunan Road were closed, many people fled with their suitcases in panic, and related videos were widely circulated on social media.

Changle Road is an important east-west street in Huangpu District, Xuhui District and Jing’an District of Shanghai. A citizen took a video to reveal that there are many white people stationed in each community along the entire road, and the iron gates of each community have been re-sealed.

A number of Shanghai residents previously told The Epoch Times that they never believed the official epidemic figures, and the officials reported as much as they wanted.

Mr. Zhao said, “There is no hope in sight now, and there is no light. It is still in the dark.”◇
