The incident occurred on Fuchengshang Street, Yanjiao Development Zone, Sanhe City, Langfang City. Several live videos and photos circulated on the Internet showed that the scene was a mess, the streets were full of glass fragments, various steel bars, etc. The facades of shops along the street were blown beyond recognition, and a car was blown up. Some were covering their injured heads, some were covered in blood, some were lying on the ground, and some were carried out on stretchers. Someone said, “A lot of people were injured.”

The explosion site was in the southwest of his store, about 50 meters away in a straight line. I thought it was an earthquake, so I ran out quickly.
“(I) saw very thick, big white smoke, no open flames, I went to the back to look around, the explosion was relatively serious, and dozens of shops in the surrounding area suffered large and small damage. ).” Shen Qing said.
Another witness at the scene also told the Epoch Times reporter, “The whole street was darkened, the windows (glass) of one street were shattered, and the glass of the cars passing by it disappeared.”
He said that the explosion point was on the south side of S1-2 of Times Square on Shang Street. “I didn’t get too close to the scene because I was afraid of the second explosion. It was the explosion of the liquefied petroleum tank. It was unclear what (the shop that exploded) did. There were three or four shops that suffered the most damage. Fortunately, there were not many people at that time. It’s not time to eat yet.”
Shen Qing said that there were 10 people with varying degrees of injuries in the official announcement, and all the injured were photographed by the neighbors. After the incident, a property came to the site for inspection, and may not be allowed to operate for a period of time, but no specific notice has been received.
Mr. Liu, a nearby resident, told Xiaoxiang Morning News that he was about to go to work when he suddenly heard a huge explosion and the windows were shaking. Almost all the shops along the street were affected by the explosion, which were severely damaged and some people were injured. The three or four shops at the center of the explosion had changed beyond recognition.
According to a report by Beijing Youth Daily, in another store 30 to 40 meters away from the scene, the ceiling of the house fell in many places, and the items in the store were in chaos. The clerk said that after the incident, the store had been powered off and could not continue to operate. A store clerk said that nearby businesses are no longer open.
Shen Qing told the Epoch Times reporter that because of the epidemic, dine-in has been banned for half a year, and only three rounds of nucleic acid testing have been done not long ago, and dine-in has just begun. Now the turnover of the store is not high, and it can barely make a rent from takeaway. During the lockdown period, there was no other way but to do odd jobs, deliver food, and maintain it for a while. It is closed during the lockdown period and loses at least 1,800 to 2,200 yuan in turnover a day.
