Five-star chalet villages: Meister waits and asks the communities for “right information”

by admin

Projects on Cortina and Auronzo, the South Tyrolean entrepreneur has a brochure ready to distribute: “In Val d’Ansiei we have already presented the project 4 times …”

CORTINA. The lack of direct contacts with the institutions does not scare the South Tyrolean Meister family, which does not give up on the construction of a five-star chalet village in both Cortina and Auronzo. Two projects similar in concept but with different usability: for couples in Cortina and for families in Auronzo.

Waiting for the masterplan

As for Cortina, the wait revolves around the presentation of the masterplan by the Veneto Region. «We look forward to it», explains Alex Meister in this regard, «in these first days of the summer season our chalet village San Luis di Avelengo has already sold out, a sign that our type of hospitality is appreciated. The projects presented both in Cortina and in Auronzo faithfully follow what we have been doing for years and with excellent results in Avelengo. Therefore. .. “.

Auronzo, there is to be discussed

More “sparkling” situation on the Auronzano front where in recent days the municipal council, at the end of a discussion with the minority in the council, expressed a negative opinion on the construction of the chalet village in Colauto, simultaneously calling into question the Region and the superintendency before making a decision definitively.

“Last week we delivered to the town hall, for the fourth time since August 2020, a further project that we have modified in some components”, says Alex Meister, “and we are sorry to see around our initiative still much, perhaps too much, disinformation. For this reason we have created a small brochure that we will deliver around Auronzo next week.

«We have had contact with the tourist consortium, we will deliver the brochures to them too. We would like to be able to deliver a copy directly into the hands of the mayor Tatiana Pais Becher to testify our good intentions, regardless of whether the operation was successful or not. We have been defined as “fried air”, I would say that more than fried air we have brought … crisp air ».

In detail, the main changes made to the project revolve around the theme of eco-sustainability.

«The Auronzo project has already obtained the pre-certification called Well Platinum which would make the Auronzo chalet village the first with this recognition in all of Italy», explains Meister, «another important point concerns the access road to the village. We have modified this part of the project by also involving the nearby Malga Maraia, together with which we would create a new access route for them too, easier and less sloping than the current one. We would share part of a road of 1270m, which on one side will lead to the hut and on the other to our village ».

The chalet village designed by the Meister family for Auronzo, to be built in the locality of Colauto at the foot of Misurina (where in the meantime several private plots of land have already been purchased) will be characterized by houses, some of which on trees, in a five-star context. The houses designed are 38 for a total of 142 beds. Similar numbers regarding the Cortina project, concentrated in col Tondo.
