2024 National Consumption Promotion Month Launched with a Focus on Trendy Domestic Products

The Ministry of Commerce has officially launched the “2024 National Consumption Promotion Month and Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Consumption Season” in Beijing, with a special focus on promoting domestic trendy products. This initiative is part of the larger effort to designate 2024 as the “Consumption Promotion Year” and aims to expand domestic demand and promote consumption through various policies and activities.

The “2024 National Consumption Promotion Month” will kick off after the Spring Festival and will highlight the theme of “domestic products.” The event will feature consumer scenarios such as Lantern Festival, Spring Equinox snacks, green consumption, smart homes, and spring outings. The goal is to guide various regions to showcase festivals, seasons, and folk customs and to hold diverse consumption promotion activities tailored to local conditions.

The initiative also aims to enrich the supply of high-quality goods and services, promote the integration of business, travel, culture, sports, and fitness with online and offline activities, and continue the consumption boom during the Spring Festival peak season.
