We all know that “The Lancet” published an open letter signed by 27 scientists last year, claiming that the Chinese Communist Party virus (Wuhan virus, New Coronavirus) may originate from the Wuhan Institute of Virology, China, as a “conspiracy theory.”
However, the day before yesterday (June 21), “The Lancet” changed its views in its latest statement, publicly stating that one of the main virologists who signed the letter, Peter Daszak of the United States, did not press The International Committee of Medical Journal Editors requires disclosure of “competitive interests.”
