This afternoon (June 7), Beijing held the 358th press conference on the prevention and control of the new crown pneumonia epidemic to introduce the latest situation of epidemic prevention and control. Pang Xinghuo, deputy director of the Beijing Center for Disease Control and Prevention, reported that from 0:00 to 15:00 on June 7, there were 5 new local new coronavirus infections in Beijing (infected from 1963 to 1967), 3 in Changping District, and 2 in Fengtai District; 2 cases were mild cases, and 3 cases were asymptomatic infections; all were isolated observation personnel, and there were zero social screening personnel. All have been transferred to designated hospitals for isolation and treatment, and relevant risk points and personnel have been placed under control.

From April 22 to 15:00 on June 7, the city has reported a total of 1,829 cases of new coronary pneumonia virus infections, involving 15 districts and economic development districts, including 429 cases in Chaoyang District, 416 cases in Fengtai District, and 413 cases in Fangshan District. There were 289 cases in Haidian District, 79 in Tongzhou District, 44 in Shunyi District, 42 in Xicheng District, 35 in Changping District, 31 in Dongcheng District, 23 in Shijingshan District, 16 in Daxing District, 6 in Mentougou District, Miyun District and Yanqing District. 2 cases each, 1 case each in Huairou District and Economic Development Zone.
