UDINE. Politics, especially in the case of direct and one-turn election, is often the art of Divide and rule as well as transforming the imponderable (or almost) into possible.

And the success of the center-right at the Communals on Sunday 12 June was linked to the choice of mayoral candidates, but also to some more or less subtle moves that allowed the coalition led by Massimiliano Fedriga to win most of the bodies to vote.
