Bai Lu told reporters that her community was designated as a high-risk area because one of the three confirmed patients had been to a store in the community and involved many close contacts. Two other residents of the community also went to the store to buy things and have been taken away for isolation.

Bai Lu said that more than 600 people have been quarantined in Manzhouli, including those in railways, inspection buildings and their close contacts, including colleagues and family members.

“There have been several epidemics in Inner Mongolia this year. There is no way. It is unlikely that it will be unblocked years ago.” Bai Lu said.
