Clash close to Torgnon. Driver’s license withdrawn

The incident took place yesterday, Wednesday, around 6 pm, on the regional road to Torgnon. The jeep of the carabinieri of Cervinia in facing a curve found itself in front of the vehicle driven by a 44-year-old man who had invaded the lane from the opposite direction. Thanks to the reflexes of the soldier driving the collision was avoided, but immediately the driver, a man resident in the Aosta Valley, was stopped for a check. The alcohol test confirmed the suspicions of the carabinieri about the man’s condition: the alcohol content was eight times higher than the limit.
The driver’s license has been withdrawn.
