Officials said the case had been quarantined in Beijing for 21 days, and the nucleic acid test was positive on the 9th of this month. People in Wanquan Town, Pingyang County, the city lined up overnight for nucleic acid testing, and many communities, villages, and roads were blocked.
The Chinese Communist Party announced on the 10th that Wang Moumou (female) from Ruian City, Wenzhou City, Zhejiang Province, returned from Italy with her husband on May 10, 2021. After entry, he was under medical observation in an isolation place in Beijing for 21 days and 4 nucleic acid tests during the period. All are negative. After lifting the quarantine on June 1, he took flight CA1539 to Wenzhou Longwan Airport, and his son drove him back to his residence in Wanquan Town, Pingyang County.
Wang Moumou went to Ruian People’s Hospital for treatment on June 9 due to physical discomfort, and the nucleic acid test was positive. The news was officially announced on the morning of the 10th. In the afternoon of the same day, Wang’s husband, Li, who returned from Italy, and the patient’s son, Li, were also diagnosed as positive.
Subsequently, residents of Wanquan Town, Pingyang County lined up overnight for nucleic acid testing, and several communities and villages near the case were closed for management.
Wang Qiang (pseudonym), a resident of Songqiao Village, Wanquan Town, told The Epoch Times reporter, “I can’t enter, the highways are closed, and many villages are also closed; Pingyang County can’t enter either, so they are closed; two of us here The streets were all sealed off, and all the people contacted by this case were taken away.”
Wang Qiang said that the confirmed case had been to Wenbin Hotel for drinking and Songqiao Health Center, and his shop was right next to it. He said that they all did nucleic acid tests last night, and the queue was hundreds of meters long until two or three o’clock.
Pan Lin (pseudonym), a villager in Songqiao Village, Wanquan Town, also said, “Yesterday (9th) at 4 o’clock in the morning, we all queued up for nucleic acid and did not notify how many times to do it. I did not notify what was the specific situation.”
Pan Lin said, “Many places have been sealed, not allowed to leave, not allowed to enter, Songqiao Village is also sealed, not allowed to go out.”
Pan Lin said that the case has been to many places. After being in Songqiao, “I was afraid that it would spread to our village, so it was sealed one by one (village).”
Zhang Jia, a resident of Wanquan Town, said that some shops in the town are still open, but they are waiting for the government’s notice. The residents have all done nucleic acid tests. Waiting for the results, several villages close to Songqiao Village have been closed. .
The public questioned the “introduction from abroad”
The authorities claimed that the case was imported from abroad, and Wang returned to China from Italy and was quarantined for 21 days. During this period, multiple nucleic acid tests were negative. Many Weibo netizens questioned the official statement of “introduction from abroad”:
