RONCO CANAVESE. They are considered disadvantaged areas and for this reason they receive substantial contributions for their enhancement and promotion from a special fund of the Ministry for Regional Affairs.
These are the municipalities bordering the Regions with a special statute, in Piedmont they are those that border the Valle d’Aosta, five of which are located in the Orco and Soana Valleys or Valprato Soana, Ronco Canavese, Ceresole Reale, Noasca and Locana (the others in Canavese are Carema and Valchiusa).
