Giulini confirms: “Semplici remains on the Cagliari bench”

The rossoblù president has no doubts: “I repeat what I said a week ago. The market? Capozucca will take care of it”. The coach is satisfied: “I was very confident”

CAGLIARI. Leonardo Semplici will still be the coach of Cagliari. To sweep away all conjectures, and to put Juric or Ranieri’s hypotheses for the rossoblù bench on the back burner, was the president Tommaso Giulini himself. Interviewed in Milan, to the microphones of the Centotrentuno website, Giulini said: “The coach will be Semplici, as already said for a week”. Statement made at the end of the summit held in the Milan offices of the Rossoblu president with the sports director Stefano Capozucca and the coach Leonardo Semplici.

As for the market, Giulini said that Capozucca himself will take care of it directly, who will hold a press conference by videoconference tomorrow afternoon. Finally a joke about Nandez: “I don’t know if we will be able to keep him, it will depend a lot on the market”. Recall that the player has a release clause of 36 million, a high enough figure that should keep most of the companies away.

The coach Leonardo Semplici was obviously satisfied and declared: “I was very confident, I knew that my adventure on the Cagliari bench would still continue”. (enrico gaviano)
