Government, a survey: confidence in Draghi is falling but remains high

by admin

ROME (ITALPRESS) – Confidence in Prime Minister Mario Draghi in two months went from 63.8% to 52.7%, losing 11.1% of the votes. This is what emerges from a Euromedia Research survey. From week to week there was a slight and constant decline in the trend of the confidence index which, even over the last week, translates into a -1.4%. The same loss is also found for the entire Executive which, starting from 56.9% on 10 February, is now at 40.8% with a deficit of 16.1%. There is no doubt that the popularity is still very high, however from the establishment to date there has not yet been a change in trend. On the executive side, the confidence index has brought many changes in the ranking of Ministers in the last month, especially in the highest positions where we find Minister Franceschini with 89.4% notoriety and 41.6% confidence. In a month he surpassed the owner of Justice Marta Cartabia who with her 39.2% drops to third place, surpassed also by the Minister of Economic Development Giancarlo Giorgetti (40.1%). “It is necessary to underline that many members of the government are faces unknown to the general public and therefore also the judgment on the work is affected, however those who have shown themselves operational in these first months of government have achieved a growth in their Index”, explains Euromedia . Euromedia Research data for La Stampa – Produced on 09/04/2021 with mixed CATI / CAWI methodology on a sample of 1,000 representative cases of the Italian adult population.
