Sogin, a public company responsible for the decommissioning of nuclear plants and the management of radioactive waste, is moving towards the commissioner. This is what the draft of the legislative decree on tax simplifications is being examined by the cdm. The commissioner, it says, is disposed “in consideration of the need and urgency to accelerate the dismantling of Italian nuclear plants, the management of radioactive waste and the construction of the national repository”. The commissioner body will be appointed by decree of the Prime Minister, on the proposal of Mef and Mite, within 30 days from the entry into force of the tax decree.

Car: longer times for registrations with eco-bonus

The CDM also decided longer times for the registration of cars benefiting from the incentives. This is foreseen by a provision of the decree on tax simplifications, passed into cdm, proposed by the development minister Giancarlo Giorgetti. In the procedures for the disbursement of bonuses for the purchase of non-polluting vehicles under the responsibility of the Mise, the terms for confirming the operation and for communicating the details of the purchase are extended from 180 to 270 days. “We have followed up on a need raised by several parties”, says Giorgetti, specifying that the law “does not include expenses”. The extension is made necessary by the lack of some components.

Tax and infrastructure simplification
Green light from the Council of Ministers also to the decree law on tax simplifications and the decree law with urgent provisions for the safety and development of infrastructures. This is what is learned from government sources.

Summer centres
A fund with an endowment of 58 million euros for the year 2022 has been set up at the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, intended to finance the initiatives of the municipalities to be implemented in the period 1 June – 31 December 2022, also in collaboration with public bodies and private. The news was given by the Minister for Equal Opportunities and the Family, Elena Bonetti, at the end of the Council of Ministers. «Also this year – explains the minister – we refinance the summer centers to support families with educational opportunities for girls and boys, girls and boys. A strategic choice to heal those wounds caused by the restrictions imposed by the pandemic and to offer everyone and everyone important paths and opportunities for growth. In this way, we continue the journey started in the summer of 2020 which made it possible to enhance the experiences of non-formal education and the third sector ». The fund is also intended for the promotion, among boys and girls, of the study of Stem subjects to be carried out in summer centers, territorial socio-educational services and centers with an educational and recreational function for minors.

Single allowance, for disabled children 120 euros more per month
The single allowance granted to those with disabled children obtains an increase for 2022. This is foreseen by a provision of the draft decree on tax simplifications being examined by the Council of Ministers. The intervention modifies the rule on the assignment of the single allowance, in relation to children with disabilities and “limited to the year 2022”. In particular, the amounts of the increase on a monthly basis for households with at least one dependent child with a disability have “increased by 120 euros for the year 2022”.
