Valsaverenche will host two days of events, on 27 and 28 August
Valsavarenche will host the celebrations for the 99th birthday of the Gran Paradiso National Park, the oldest in Italy (it was established on December 3, 1922). Two days of celebration are planned, on 27 and 28 August.
The program opens on Friday evening with a theatrical and musical show created for the occasion (by the actress and author Livia Taruffi and the Turin harpist and singer-songwriter Cecilia Lasagno); on Saturday morning there will be two thematic excursions to discover the protection actions of the ibex and the marmot while at 5 pm there will be an institutional moment in the presence of the Mayor of Valsavarenche and the authorities; Saturday evening grand finale with a night visit to the «Water and Biodiversity» Center in Rovenaud and observation of the starry sky. Guests of honor of the event will be the representatives of the Abruzzo, Lazio and Molise National Park.
