Grillo and Conte: “surprise” meeting at the meeting on the Metaverse between hugs and jabs

In the Metaverse Beppe Grillo and Giuseppe Conte hug, joke and laugh, it seems they love each other. When the founder of the 5-star Movement appears by surprise among the columns of the Temple of Hadrian, where the conference entitled “Politics in the Metaverse is underway. Technology and the environment to plan the future ”, the president goes to meet him: they cling tightly, in a blatant way, in front of everyone. The photos and videos of the meeting will be promptly disseminated by the M5s communication staff, so that everyone can see them united, serene, in harmony. Other than differences on the roof of the two mandates for parliamentarians or on the derogation to make Giancarlo Cancelleri candidate for regional in Sicily. But this is what Grillo and Conte are talking about, closed for ten minutes in a secluded room, which, however, has glass doors: many stop following the conference and peek at them.

Discussion at times excited, smiles disappeared, from the mimicry it seems that Conte tries to convince Grillo, who shakes his head at least a couple of times. Then they go out and the former premier heads towards the audience, “Come Beppe”, but the other doesn’t want to: “I’ll come shortly, I’ll drink first,” he says, turning around and making an eloquent gesture of impatience. In reality, he doesn’t drink, he jokes with the photographer and other 5-star staff, he indulges in a couple of selfies.

Then he decides to go and sit next to Conte, he listens to the end of an intervention and he can’t help himself: «I have a question» and takes possession of the microphone. This is followed by one of his classic shows, unscheduled, which begins with an appreciation for the initiative: «I told my children that I was coming to a conference on the Metaverse, they told me« it is no use for a ca … ». He is heated up on the subject of sharing personal data, starting from the citizenship income which is “over even to those in prison because it is not possible to verify the data with the Ministry of Grace and Justice. The same thing happened with Covid and it is hallucinating – says Grillo – We talk about digitization, but we are still in a very analogical era “. So he talks about a digital project he cares a lot about, “I’ve had it for a year, I don’t know who to give it to, yet we are in the government – he explains – I gave it to everyone, even Conte, but give it to Conte it’s like throwing it out the window. ” The digital project, he means him. A moment of embarrassment, then the general laugh, which in Conte’s case seems more like a grimace. A joke, nothing more, they assure from the Movement.

Moreover, not the only one, since shortly before, replying to the reporters with the usual irony, he had shouted: “Guys, a mess happened with Conte, he passed with Di Maio!” But for heaven’s sake, they love each other. Another hug when he leaves, then at the door Grillo is stopped by a girl, perhaps a 5-star activist, who says to him: “Beppe, we miss you.” Her answer is prompt: “I’ll take care of it, you’ll see that we’re still having fun.” Meanwhile, inside, Conte took the stage of the Metaverse and is saying that “Beppe, by freeing his intuition, has touched on the important issue of personal data.” And not only that. While he speaks, his avatar moves on the screen behind him, dressed in a Batman-style superhero suit, “and so I’m 20 years younger too,” notes the former premier. Furthermore, it seems that in virtual reality Di Maio recognizes him as the boss and Grillo always agrees with him.
