According to the Securities Times Network, according to the Guangdong Health Commission, between 0-24:00 on July 2, there were no new local confirmed cases and local asymptomatic infections in Guangdong Province.

There were 3 newly imported confirmed cases in Guangdong Province, 2 cases were reported in Guangzhou, from Malaysia and Cambodia, and 1 case was reported in Zhuhai, from France. There were 9 newly imported asymptomatic infections from abroad. Guangzhou reported 6 cases, 2 cases were from Myanmar, and the remaining 4 cases were from Bangladesh, UAE, Japan and Yemen; Foshan reported 3 cases, from Oman, Cambodia and Saudi Arabia. 17 new cases were discharged.
