The procedures for the state of calamity started after the hailstorms that hit the wineries

VENICE. The president of the Veneto Region, Luca Zaia, with his own decree, declared a state of crisis following the violent hailstorms that yesterday affected the area of ​​the Treviso foothills.

The decree will remain “open”, also in view of the adverse weather forecasts for the next few hours and waiting for the municipalities concerned to carry out the appropriate reconnaissance and census of the damage caused by bad weather.

At the same time, Zaia started the procedures for the state of natural disaster, for the restoration of the damages that have affected the agricultural activities of the area, in particular the wine crops.
