AQUILEIA. Serious accident just before 10pm on Friday 6 August in Aquileia along the main road, via Beligna. A motorcyclist was seriously injured. According to the first reconstruction of the carabinieri – the exact dynamics are being examined – there was a collision between the two-wheeler on which a young man from Cervignano was traveling and a car (a Fiat Panda) driven by a woman. The motorcycle ended up on the side of the road. Passing people and motorists stopped, 112 was called. The operators of the central sent to the place – we are a short distance from the Corallo restaurant and the Break & Bike sandwich shop – the medical staff, the carabinieri and the firefighters.
The mayor, Emanuele Zorino, also came, explaining: «As soon as I found out, I rushed here.
