MALBORGHETTO VALBRUNA. He sets out on his own to take a walk but does not return: an intervention taken at 8.30 pm at the Alpine Rescue station of Cave del Predil closed at about 10 pm together with the Guardia di Finanza and the Fire Brigade to search for a missing 18-year-old from Rome in the woods above the hamlet of Valbruna.
In reality, the young man had initially set off alone for a walk but then, unable to understand where he was anymore, he called his parents who in the meantime had gone shopping.
The father managed to reach him but the mother, not seeing them return, started looking for them. The rescuers then reached the father (born in 1981) with his son and later the mother (born in 1971) who was a few tens of meters higher than the other two without knowing it. The family was reunited and brought back to the valley. A dozen Alpine Rescue technicians took part in the operations.
