MOGGIO UDINESE. Ovedasso in mourning for the sudden death of Carlo Canziani. The man, 66, lived alone in the hamlet of Moggio Udinese.

It was his sister Renza, after not having received any news from him in the previous days, who alerted the emergency services. Born on January 3, 1955, Canziani was found lifeless at home, shortly after 8 pm on Saturday, due to a sudden illness: despite the attempts of the 118 staff for the 66-year-old there was nothing to do. Firefighters and carabinieri are also on site.

Canziani worked as a worker in the Ermolli paper mill in Moggio Udinese, until his retirement a few years ago. A private person, Canziani lived alone in the Moggese hamlet.

Among his passions was hunting: he was involved in the control of the local fauna. His disappearance has aroused deep condolences in Ovedasso.

The mayor of Moggio, Giorgio Filaferro, expresses “condolences and closeness to the family for this premature loss”. The 66-year-old, in addition to his sister Renza, leaves his nephews Gianluca, Roberto, Andrea and Martino.

The funeral will be celebrated on Tuesday 7, at 2.30 pm, in the Abbey of Moggio, starting from the Benedetto di Gemona funeral home. –
