UDINE. They waited for her to go out to do the shopping, went into the house and stole all the family silverware, which she particularly cared about and which she jealously kept in a closet.

A successful blow to the thieves about 12 thousand euros. It happened on the morning of Friday 14 January, in Reana del Rojale, at the home of an old woman who lives in via Annino. To notice the theft and to give the alarm was the woman, who found the wooden wardrobe, inside which she kept all the silverware, forced.

There was nothing inside. The theft was reported to the carabinieri of the Feletto Umberto station, who are also carrying out investigations with the help of the video surveillance systems in the area.

Another theft against a 68-year-old pensioner occurred, again on Friday 14 January, also in Basiliano, in via Verdi. In this case, the criminals forced the front door and entered the house. They searched the rooms and managed to find cash, ATMs and even credit cards. It was the elder who called the police. The Carabinieri of Campoformido intervened on the spot.
