SAN VENDEMIANO. He is 58 years old and yesterday he left San Vendemiano to reach Cansiglio and go in search of mushrooms, but he never returned home. Since yesterday evening, around 8 pm, a man from Treviso has been searched for who has disappeared in the area between Tambre and Cansiglio.
His initials are EC and the request for help arrived in the Belluno area from the Carabinieri of Conegliano, advised by the man’s family. Two teams of Alpago fire brigade volunteers intervened on the spot, then joined by a team sent by the provincial command, together with the carabinieri who also alerted the Suem.
The search began with the information that the man’s cell phone could have sent, which was “hooked up” by Tambre’s cell. For this reason, the research initially focused on Sant’Anna.
The family was unable to indicate precisely in which area the man went and the searches extended throughout the area of Tambre village, Sant’Anna and along the road to Cansiglio, but the car, up to at 11pm yesterday it had not yet been found.
The area is full of secondary roads that lead into the woods and having started the search in the dark has complicated the mission of the rescuers who are hoping to find the Treviso’s car to be able to narrow down the search field. –
