There are not only 4 thousand euros – this is the first estimate, pending the verdict of the coachbuilder – of damage to the car of the candidate for mayor of Cordenons Franco Vampa. The man held responsible for the escape accident is also accused of resisting a public official. When the carabinieri showed up at his house on the night between Sunday and Monday, in fact, his reaction would have been such as to bring the Arma soldiers to an arrest. He was immediately released but at the end of the investigation it will be understood which charges he will have to answer.
This is how the contours of a story that held via San Quirino, a side street of via Maestra, begin to take shape. Indeed, with eyes wide open, since the crash between Sunday and Monday woke up half the neighborhood. Except the unfortunate owner of the car parked in front of the house, namely Franco Vampa, who was warned in the middle of the night by the carabinieri.
